Bonvivant is Málaga’s original independent craft brewery, founded in 2014 by a group of beer lovers who saw the untapped potential for craft beer along the Costa del Sol.
Nestled in the heart of the Guadalhorce industrial district, Bonvivant underwent a bold renovation in 2024 – ushering in a new era of management, a refreshed vision, and an exciting lineup of all-new brews.
Bonvivant became well known as a fun, lively venue, but no neighbours made it easy to launch big events. The beer was very well received, with top distributors and bars beginning to sell the brand.
Over the years, Bonvivant’s ownership structure has changed, and in 2024, it was fully acquired by Ventus, an investment company dedicated to preserving the brand’s legacy while growing the business to its full potential.
As of 2025, Bonvivant specializes in making award-winning craft beers, supplying the area’s top hotels, restaurants, and bars. Our clients include regional leaders like NH Hotel Group, Finca Cortesin, Marbella Club, Danny Garcia group, and more.
Our brewing process is a blend of tradition and innovation. We carefully source ingredients and apply precision techniques to ensure every batch is flawless. Our brewmaster’s dedication has earned Bonvivant awards and a loyal following.
Alessio Allegretti discovered his passion for brewing in an unexpected moment of inspiration – after watching a television program about an American brewer. That spark quickly turned into a calling. The very next day, he set out to learn the craft, dedicating two years to studying and perfecting his own recipes from his home kitchen. What began as a personal curiosity evolved into a professional journey, leading him to spend the next nine years honing his skills at La Catarina. Today, Alessio brings his deep knowledge, creativity, and dedication to every batch of Bonvivant Beer, crafting bold and balanced brews that reflect his passion and experience.
